Founded in 1903 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Southeast Missouri State Redhawks men’s basketball blends tradition with ambition. The program’s trophy case features the 1943 NAIA national championship, multiple deep Division II runs with national title game appearances in 1986 and 1989, and Ohio Valley Conference hardware, including the 2000 regular-season and tournament crowns and the 2023 tournament title that sent SEMO back to March Madness.

Home games light up the 7,373-seat Show Me Center, where a loud student section, the pep band, and a close-knit regional fanbase turn every tip into a celebration.
