Nebraska Omaha Mavericks Women's Basketball Tickets

Nebraska Omaha Mavericks Women's Basketball Tickets

Founded in 1970-71 in Omaha, Nebraska, the Omaha Mavericks women’s basketball program blends proud history with fresh ambition. The Mavs earned AIAW and NCAA Division II regional berths and, more recently, surged to the Summit League championship game in 2021 and 2023, highlighted by an unforgettable 52-40 quarterfinal upset of No. 21 South Dakota State. Standouts like Mikaela Shaw and Elena Pilakouta helped define a hard-nosed, team-first identity, and head coach Jamie Carey now guides the next chapter.

Baxter Arena amplifies that edge with 7,898 seats and the roaring Bullpen student section alongside the Maverick Maniacs. Annual Summit League showdowns with South Dakota State and North Dakota crank up the volume, creating a can’t-miss atmosphere that feels personal and loud. Be there for the next big moment.
