Founded in 1930 in Hammond, Louisiana, Southeastern Louisiana Lions football channels the region’s grit and pride into every snap. On fall Saturdays, Strawberry Stadium crackles with noise as green and gold pour in from campus and across the Northshore. From the first notes of pregame to the final whistle, the atmosphere invites every fan to get close to the action and create the kind of memories only live college football delivers.

The Lions captured Southland Conference titles in 2013 and 2014 and reached the FCS quarterfinals in 2013 after the program’s 2003 return. Standouts like NFL cornerback Robert Alford and Walter Payton Award winner quarterback Cole Kelley showcase real star power. Each season peaks with the River Bell Classic against Nicholls, energizing tailgates at Friendship Circle, a raucous student section, and the signature Lion Up spirit with Roomie the Lion.
