UC Davis Aggies football has been shaping Saturdays since 1915 in Davis, California, blending smart, physical play with true Aggie Pride. Led for years by Hall of Fame coach Jim Sochor and quarterback Ken O’Brien, the program stacked 20 straight conference titles from 1971 to 1990 and posted 26 consecutive winning seasons, then claimed a Big Sky championship in 2018 and reached the FCS quarterfinals. Rivalries fuel the fall, especially the annual Causeway Classic with Sacramento State and the Battle for the Golden Horseshoe against Cal Poly. Home games at UC Davis Health Stadium deliver intimate sightlines, a lively grass berm, and the thunder of the Aggie Pack and marching band. Tailgates start early, energy builds, and every seat feels close to the action.
