Even though it’s a cold January, and even though you might be looking for a comedy show to see to ward off the winter blues, you probably haven’t thought of checking out a French comedy play. The play is called God of Carnage, or “Le Dieu de Carnage” in its original name. It’s not a problem if you don’t happen to speak French, though, because the play has been translated into English for the current Broadway production. What is the play about? Two schoolboys, Ferdinand and Bruno, were playing a game at school called God of Carnage and Ferdinand breaks two of Bruno’s teeth. The parents decide to have a get-together to discuss the situation and before long they start arguing just like their children. It’s not hard to understand why either: one set of parents is relatively wealthy and live the fast-paced urban life; the parents are lower-middle class and are outside the mainstream. At the same time, each parent doesn’t get along with the other all that well either. The result is a chaotic clash of personalities that will surely have you laughing out loud. So find your God of Carnage New York tickets on our site today!

The British rocker Morrissey, whose full name is Steven Patrick Morrissey, is still on tour. His “Greatest Hits Tour” of a few years ago has become such a fan favorite that he’s still on tour. If you don’t remember who Morrissey is, let’s review: He started his career with the punk band The Nosebleeds, back in the 70s. But then he really hit the big time in the 80s when he was the main lyricist and vocalist of the world famous band The Smiths. People still love The Smiths nowadays, and a lot of their songs are mainly the creation of Morrissey. Since his time with The Smiths, he has been working on his solo career and his album Vauxhall and I is still one of his best. After several years’ break, he jumped back into the recording studio and has been recording and touring extensively the past few years. Morrissey is coming to perform near you! Take a look at the Morrissey concert tickets we have and get your tickets today!

With the climax of the NFL season now only two weeks away, that leaves only two games left before we enter the long dry spell of outdoor football; the Super Bowl and Pro Bowl games respectively. As the last game of the season, the NFL Pro Bowl is a showcase of the most talented players in the league. Only the fastest, smartest, strongest, and most agile (sometimes all four) can make it. So it's a war between the best runners and best tacklers; the best receivers and best corners; and so on and so forth. With only the best competing, there's not likely going to be a single dull moment. Even though the game itself carries no weight (as an All Star game does in the MLB), there is quite a lot of pride at stake. They've all been chosen as the best in the league, and now they want to set themselves apart as the best of the best. And while it may be winter everywhere else in the United States, Hawaii rarely feels the inclement weather. What could be better than warm weather and the last game of the season? Pick up your NFL Pro Bowl tickets today and watch it live!

During the cold winter months, sometimes you want to hear some music that you can relate to. Sometimes you want music that can bring you out of the doldrums and the cabin fever. Well, we have a concert tip for you! Leonard Cohen is performing again. Cohen is well known for some of his more melancholy songs, which he wrote in the 70s and 80s. These songs were especially popular in folk music circles and over the last decades have become well known in other arenas too. But after a long retreat to a Zen Buddhist monastery in the late 1990s, he came back with much happier songs. This is why, when you see him perform, you get to hear both his sadder songs as well as the happier ones. How many performers could understand both of these wintertime feelings so well? He has also recently been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. To see him, you should hurry up and buy your Leonard Cohen concert tickets from Vivid Seats.

As the amorphous year of 2009 begins to take shape, the PGA world is still in flux, mostly, if not totally due to the absence of poster boy Tiger Woods. For the past 10 years or so, the world has grown accustomed to seeing Tiger being awarded the tour trophy, jacket, or whatever the end prize is. Yet, in the few months that he's been sidelined with an ACL tear and the subsequent rehabilitation after surgery, no single golfer has been able to fill the large void Tiger has left. Which, in the end, is probably a good thing. With no titan dominating the course nearly every outing, matches are more competitive and often more engaging. So with his knee convalescence clipping along at a fair pace (he is now able to take practice swings with irons and woods), the active players still have a few more months of preparation for the return of Tiger. John Daly, on the other hand, may miss the welcoming party for Tiger, as he is still suspended for 6 months from the PGA, due to some controversial behavior. The first quater, third, or even half of the year should provide a nice glimpse of the emerging PGA talent then, while the second should be a showcase of a fully healed Tiger Woods. Either part you watch should be incredibly engaging. But to really understand the finer nuances of the game and the incredible talent of these pros, you may want to get 2009 golf tickets and see the tour live.

Did you know that Dolly Parton wrote a musical? She sings, she dances, she writes musicals! It’s hard to believe, isn’t it? But her musical 9 to 5 is going to start its run on Broadway in just a matter of weeks. If the name sounds familiar, it will be because there was a movie by the same name in 1980. In fact, the movie was the original version of the musical; there wasn’t a stage show first. The song, “9 to 5”, from the movie, earned Parton an Academy Award nomination and was all over the charts in 1980. Then we didn’t hear about this musical for awhile. But now it’s back! It was first given a public reading on January 19, 2007, where people got the chance to experience it again, but live for the first time. The cast is now chosen, with great actors like Allison Janney (of West Wing fame) and Stephanie J. Block in the ensemble. Even if you haven’t seen the movie, this is one of the biggest new musicals of the year. And you can get a jump on your fellow fans by getting your 9 to 5 musical tickets on our site today!

In just 10 days time, the 2009 NHL All Star Game will be held in Montreal, Canada--celebrating the 100th season of the Montreal Canadians within the NHL. Perhaps then, it is more fitting to label it as "Match des Étoiles de la Ligue Nationale de Hockey." Whatever you wish to call it, however, it won't change the electric atmosphere that always surrounds it. Traditionally, the all star game is anything but a defensive showing. In the past 10 years for example (excluding of course the 2005 and 2006 games, cancelled due to the lockout and Winter Olympics respectively), the total points scored between East and West has been 156 goals. Keep in mind that the rules of widened nets and smaller goalie pads have only been enforced in the past two years. So with the 2009 starting squads already selected by NHL fans, the talent available should be able to produce at least 10 goals between the two rosters. The West--a split between Hawks and Ducks players-- will take on the East--a predominantly Montreal Canadians-led group. Prowess like this spells a long 60 minutes for the opposing goalies. You, however, can take delight in all the scoring action if you capitalize on our NHL All Star game tickets.

What are some of your favorite things? If two of those things are “The Beatles” and “Cirque du Soleil”, then your list is practically complete. And you’re in luck! The Beatles and Cirque have joined forces and started performing a show in June 2006. The show is called “Love” which is a fitting choice, considering that both groups have love as a major theme in their work. But what’s the show about? It basically follows the Beatles’ group biography, from their founding in England through their American stage and psychedelic phase and all the way to their own breakup and eventual reunification (in this show, anyway). The show uses Beatles music, re-orchestrated to fit this new venue. And the staging is true to Cirque form, with acrobatics and dance, very intricately put together into a big visual and musical extravaganza. Everyone wants to see this show and it’s easy to imagine why. When you combine great music with amazing movement and dance, everyone wants to see it! Since this probably includes you, click here to view Cirque "Love" Las Vegas tickets today!

As one of the godfathers of the hip-hop/rap world, Jay Z can never really retire. Just take longer and longer leaves of absence before coming back to do his thang [sic]. But at the same time, it's perfectly understandable, considering the fact he's one of the most successful businessman of the moment. Wetting his beak in the sports world (he co-owns the New Jersey Nets, and sports bar 40/40), the clothing world (Roc A Wear), music production, and marriage (Beyonce) can be a little time consuming. Attaining this all from the relative scratch that he had during his upbringing only makes it all the more impressive as well. But with all this on his plate, as well as numerous other lower profile events that he undoubtedly attends/supports, it's a wonder that Jay Z even finds the time/energy to put on a show. Yet here he is, 39 years old and spittin' mad crazy (and crazy mad) rhymes with the vigor of a young 20-something. So while it certainly shouldn't be his last set of shows, these will most likely turn out to be the last set for at least a little while. Find your Jay Z concert tickets today and see him live, before he goes on musical hiatus again.

Well, it’s another year and with each new year always comes a new PGA tour. In fact, the first competition has already been played, the Mercedes-Benz Championship in Kapalua, Hawaii. The winner was Geoff Ogilvy, who went into the final round leading by 6 shots, almost fell back into a tie, and then held on to win in the end. He may be one of the best golfers in the world right now, but he’s definitely not the best known yet. Tiger Woods is still out with an injury, but when he comes back, he will really be looking to redeem himself for all the lost time he’s had this last year. Vijay Singh had a good tournament, too, but he will have to have knee surgery this week and will miss about 5 weeks of play. But there’s not a dearth of great players still in the mix. Anthony Kim, Zach Johnson, and Davis Love all were really close to winning in Hawaii. And that’s not even counting the main golfers like Phil Mickelson and Sergio Garcia, who will also be joining the tour in the next few weeks. It’s looking to be a great year for the golfing world and we’re looking forward to helping you see the competitions! Get your golf tickets today, because they are selling out faster than you think!
