Toby Mac is the most successful and popular artists as far as Christian music history goes and he is considered to be a legend when it comes to Christian hip hop, Christian Rap, Christian pop as well as Christian Rock. He has been musically active since 1987 and his real name is Kevin Michael McKeehan. Toby Mac is contracted with Forefront Records and has written two books on Christian martyrs called Jesus Freaks Vol 1 and Vol 2. Toby Mac has been the most requested artist in 2007 on several Christian rock and hip hop websites and has made appearances on several albums. Toby Mac has received two Grammy nominations for his first album. Toby Mac also received the Gospel Music Award for the Best Video of the year in 2007 for the video “Boomin”.
