Gillette Stadium is home to the New England Patriots. It is also home to the New England Revolution. Gillette Stadium began construction in 2000 and was completed in 2002, which the Revolution had the first official game. The Rolling Stones also played in 2002 before the New England Patriots in which they took the field 4 days later. The Patriots have been all over Boston and it was finally Foxboro that would be their new home. The capacity for the relatively new stadium is 68,756. So not only does Gillette stadium hold football and soccer games, but it also is used as a concert venue for such artists as Bruce Springsteen as well as the NCAA Lacrosse Championships.
