Born in 1911 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Arkansas State Red Wolves football blends tradition with fast-paced Sun Belt ambition. The program has piled up conference championships, highlighted by a rare three-peat from 2011 to 2013 with three different head coaches, plus notable bowl wins at the GoDaddy Bowl and Camellia Bowl. Fans still celebrate playmakers like record-setting quarterback Ryan Aplin and All-American receiver Omar Bayless, while the long-running regional rivalry with Memphis adds extra bite each time it appears on the schedule. On fall Saturdays, Centennial Bank Stadium comes alive as the Sound of the Natural State powers a raucous student section and the crowd flashes the Wolves Up sign. Friendly, all-in tailgating and intimate sightlines make game day in Jonesboro feel personal, loud, and unforgettable.
