Charli XCX to Team with Bleachers for Summer 2015 Tour
Still on a high note from the release of her sophomore album, Charli XCX has announced plans to return to the U.S. in 2015 for a summer co-headlining tour. Announced on April 21, the upcoming Charli XCX tour will also star Bleachers, the side recording project of Jack Antonoff from the band fun. A total of 14 shows were revealed at the time of the tour announcement, with the first concert scheduled for San Diego’s Birch North Park Theatre on July 21. Other shows will bring the double-bill to cities like Troutdale, Ore. (July 26), Milwaukee (Aug. 5), Detroit (Aug. 11), and Columbus, Ohio (Aug. 12), in addition to many others. Apart from her co-headlining tour, Charli XCX has been booked to appear at numerous 2015 festivals in North America, including Governors Ball (June 5-7), Firefly Music Festival (June 18-21), Lollapalooza (July 31-Aug. 2), Osheaga Music and Arts Festival (July 31-Aug. 2), and more.
