Idaho State Bengals football has been part of Pocatello since 1902, shaping Saturdays across southeast Idaho with a hard-charging brand of FCS football. The Bengals compete in the Big Sky and lean into orange and black pride that welcomes every fan, from alumni to families discovering their first college game.

Program milestones include the 1981 NCAA Division I-AA national championship behind head coach Dave Kragthorpe and quarterback Mike Machurek, plus Big Sky titles in 1963 and 1981. Alumni such as Jared Allen and Merril Hoge keep the program’s reputation front and center. Home games unfold inside the ICCU Dome, the oldest enclosed stadium on a college campus, where crisp indoor acoustics, a spirited student section, and lively tailgates create a loud, weatherproof atmosphere for intrastate showdowns with Idaho and other Big Sky foes.
