Indy 500 Qualifying turns the Indianapolis Motor Speedway into a high-stakes showcase of precision, nerve, and raw pace. Across blistering four-lap runs, drivers trim out the cars, chase average speed, and fight crosswinds on the long straights before threading the short chutes and sweeping Turns 1 through 4. Every lift, every line, every heartbeat can be the difference between celebration and the bubble.
The format raises the tension: the Fast 12 sets the stage, the Fast Six crowns the pole winner, and Last Chance Qualifying decides who makes the 33-car field. The roar off the yard of bricks during a do-or-die run is unlike anything in motorsports, and fans feel every mile per hour from pit wall to Pagoda Plaza. Buy Indy 500 Qualifying tickets from Vivid Seats for a secure purchase, great selection, a 100% Buyer Guarantee, and Rewards that help you earn on every unforgettable lap.
