Born in 1925 in Lubbock, the Texas Tech Red Raiders bring a fearless brand of college football to the Big 12. Fans still rave about Michael Crabtree's last-second touchdown beating Texas in 2008, and NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes fueling high-powered offenses. The program's history includes multiple Border Conference championships and memorable postseason moments, including a record Insight Bowl comeback over Minnesota in 2006 and a Holiday Bowl win against Arizona State in 2013.

Home games at Jones AT&T Stadium feel electric, with the Masked Rider charging ahead of the team, the Goin' Band from Raiderland shaking the stands, and the Raider Power chant echoing across West Texas. Tailgating in Raider Alley and a loud, unified student section give every Saturday its own edge. Circle the annual TCU clash for the Saddle Trophy, it never disappoints.
