Founded in 1893 in Durham, New Hampshire, the Wildcats have built a fearless FCS identity that rewards smart, hard-nosed football and creative offense. UNH has stacked multiple conference titles across the Yankee, Atlantic 10, and CAA eras, reached the FCS semifinals in 2013 and 2014, and posted a remarkable streak of 14 straight playoff appearances from 2004 to 2017.

Legends like Walter Payton Award winner Jerry Azumah and record-setting receiver David Ball shine alongside coaching icons Sean McDonnell and offensive innovator Chip Kelly. Every fall, the Battle for the Brice-Cowell Musket with Maine anchors the calendar. Wildcat Stadium comes alive with crisp New England Saturdays, spirited tailgating at Boulder Field, the roar of the Wildcat Marching Band, and a student section that turns tight games into loud, electric moments.
