Born in 1911 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, Oklahoma Baptist Bison football blends fresh ambition with proud roots. After a 73-year pause, the program relaunched in 2013 under head coach Chris Jensen and quickly built momentum, highlighted by the 2021 Fun Town RV Heritage Bowl championship, the first bowl win in school history. The Bison also claim the 1940 Oklahoma Collegiate Conference crown, while quarterback Preston Haire’s GAC Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2019 and 2021 spotlight modern standouts.
