The Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo is an annual tradition in Opp, Alabama that blends small-town festival energy with wildlife education. For more than six decades, locals and travelers gather to watch safe, expert-led rattlesnake demonstrations, learn about conservation and snakebite safety, and celebrate Wiregrass culture through music, food, and community spirit.

Beyond the arena, the weekend features live music from regional and national acts, carnival rides, arts and crafts, and plenty of Southern bites, plus a 5K and car show. Families find hands-on fun, and avid fans plan full days of sets and attractions. Make your plans to be there and create vivid memories in Opp.
