Ozric Tentacles are a British instrumental collective that sprang from the UK’s free-festival scene in the early 1980s, guided by guitarist and sonic architect Ed Wynne. Blending psychedelic rock, space-rock atmospheres, progressive intricacy, dub pulses, and global textures, the band builds expansive, synth-rich journeys that prize groove, odd meters, and improvisation. Their live shows are immersive and kinetic, translating studio alchemy into extended, shape-shifting jams that reward deep listening and dance-floor energy alike. Decades on, Ozric Tentacles continue to evolve, delivering transportive sets that feel both exploratory and precise, inviting fans to get lost in sound and come back buzzing.
