Piazza San Carlo is Turin's grand outdoor stage, a Baroque square framed by graceful arcades, the twin churches of Santa Cristina and San Carlo Borromeo, and storied cafes like Caffe San Carlo and Caffe Torino. Set at P.za S. Carlo, Torino 10123, Italy, it blends centuries of architecture with the buzz of modern city life, making it a striking backdrop for concerts, festivals, and civic celebrations.
Audiences love the wide, open sightlines around the equestrian statue of Emanuele Filiberto, the smooth stone surface that welcomes large, flexible stage builds, and the natural ambiance created by the surrounding porticoes. From summer music series to cultural showcases and holiday events, the piazza transforms into a lively hub where sound, light, and history meet in the heart of the city.
Getting there is easy: it is a short walk from Torino Porta Nuova and well served by public transit, with plentiful dining before and after the show under the arcades if weather turns. The square is pedestrian friendly, with level access that helps fans move comfortably.
