The Puerto Rico Open is a PGA Tour event that spotlights rising talent and seasoned pros on a scenic Caribbean stage. Played at Grand Reserve Country Club in Río Grande, just east of San Juan, it typically lands in late winter as an alternate event on the schedule, offering valuable FedExCup points and a springboard to greater starts. Since 2008, it has delivered memorable breakthroughs, playoff drama, and island vibes fans love.

The course winds along coastal lagoons with trade winds testing every shot, framed by views of El Yunque National Forest. Expect approachable sightlines, intimate grandstands, and a relaxed, festive atmosphere where you can follow groups up close, feel the breeze, and catch birdie runs down the stretch. It is a sun-soaked week that makes golf feel vibrant, welcoming, and unmistakably Puerto Rican.
