Sandhills Stock Show and Rodeo is West Texas' signature celebration of ranching, youth agriculture, and world-class rodeo. Hosted each January in Odessa at the Ector County Coliseum, the event blends PRCA competition, including saddle bronc, bareback, bull riding, steer wrestling, team roping, tie-down roping, and barrel racing, with a full stock show spotlighting junior exhibitors. Champions are made in the arena and the barn, and the show supports scholarships that keep the tradition thriving.

Beyond the chutes, you’ll find family-friendly activities, live music, and plenty of authentic Texas flavor. Whether you grew up in the show ring or are catching your first rodeo, Sandhills delivers high-energy action, proud community spirit, and the kind of moments fans talk about long after the dust settles. Get ready to cheer and make it a standout winter highlight.
