Neil deGrasse Tyson Live Shows Confirmed for 2016
Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson will bring his astrophysicist expertise to more science fans in 2016 with the announcement of new speaking dates for the spring. Beginning in mid-January, deGrasse Tyson will once again pick up his live speaking schedule in 2016, beginning on Jan. 11 at Los Angeles’ Pantages Theatre. As of Nov. 12, the host of the revived “Cosmos” series has plotted more than 10 live appearances for the first half of the year, including stops in San Francisco (Jan. 13-14), Toronto (Feb. 24), Detroit (March 24), Chicago (May 10), and Phoenix (May 12), among others. In the remaining two months of 2015, deGrasse Tyson will also bring his intellect to cities like Nashville (Nov. 18), Brooklyn, N.Y. (Dec. 1), Newark, N.J. (Dec. 2-3), and the Westbury Music Fair in Westbury, N.Y. (Dec. 10).
Outside of live appearances, deGrasse Tyson is keeping busy with the second season of his National Geographic series, “StarTalk,” a spin-off of his popular podcast. The show’s first season premiered in 2015 with 10 episodes, and its second season launched in late October with special guest Bill Clinton.
