This Is The Kit is the shape-shifting alternative folk project led by singer and songwriter Kate Stables, celebrated for intricate, earthy arrangements and quietly luminous melodies. Onstage, the band turns intimate songwriting into something communal, weaving banjo, guitar, and supple rhythms around Stables’ warm, conversational vocals. Songs open like stories, then bloom into hypnotic grooves, inviting audiences to lean in, listen close, and sing along. The result feels hand-hewn yet adventurous, a welcoming space where subtle dynamics and lyrical detail land with real emotional weight. Whether they are playing a cozy club or a festival stage, This Is The Kit deliver performances that reward attentive ears and spark shared release.
