Woodlands Pavilion Information
The Woodlands Pavilion is an outdoor amphitheatre that is located in The Woodlands, Texas. Its official name is The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and it can hold approximately 17,000 fans. It opened in 1990, and is home to the Houston Symphony but holds a variety of concerts. Past artists include the Dave Matthews Band, Elton John, Linkin Park, Frank Sinatra and many more. In addition to music, the Woodlands Pavilion also features theater arts including ballet and opera. It is located near major cities in Texas but generally the Houston area. The pavilion is broken into three sections, including covered reserved seating, uncovered reserved seating and the lawn area. It has parking and premier parking as well as accessible accommodations for people with disabilities and special needs. Because it is located in Texas, it could be open year round, but it generally opens in March and closes in November.
