Located at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10112, NBC Studios 30 Rock is the Art Deco heartbeat of live television in Midtown Manhattan. Audience members file into storied rooms like Studio 8H and 6B for high-energy tapings, comedy specials and select live events. Clear sightlines, tuned acoustics and veteran crews ensure every joke, cold open and applause break lands.
Comedy history lives here. Saturday Night Live has called Studio 8H home since 1975, where Eddie Murphy's Mister Robinson, Bill Murray's lounge singer and Kate McKinnon's chameleonic characters became touchstones. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler refined Weekend Update in this building. The Tonight Show and Late Night studios deliver surprise drop-ins, musical comedy and sketches that feel sharper in person.
