Philippe Laprise is a Quebec stand-up original from Jonquière whose high-octane storytelling turns everyday chaos into contagious laughter. An École nationale de l'humour graduate, he broke through as Juste pour rire's Revelation in 2007 and later earned Discovery of the Year at Les Olivier. Fans know him from the youth hit "VRAK la vie," but it's onstage where he really thrives, packing theaters with personal, precision-crafted bits drawn from family life, ADHD advocacy, and his improvisation roots. After crowd-pleasing tours like "Je m'en occupe" and "Pourquoi pas," which surpassed 100,000 tickets, Laprise is back with "Au sommet," a fifth one-man show built for momentum and big laughs. Offstage, he co-owns the Big Bill de Coaticook baseball club and champions causes close to home.
