Texas singer-songwriter Sara Hickman brings bright pop instincts to folk-rooted storytelling, turning intimate snapshots into singable earworms. After early acclaim with "Equal Scary People" and "Shortstop," she built a catalog that spans the luminous "Necessary Angels," adventurous "Two Kinds of Laughter," and the expansive double album "The Motherlode." Named the Official Texas State Musician in 2010, Hickman is as dedicated to community as to craft, known for radiant live shows that weave humor, heart, and audience connection. Fan favorites like "We Are Each Other's Angels" and "I Couldn't Help Myself" showcase her melodic grace, inventive arrangements, and a voice that lifts rooms of every size.
