Located at 21 Dean Street in London’s Soho, Soho Theatre is a lively home for stand-up comedy, fearless new writing, and late-night cabaret. Across three intimate spaces, Theatre, Upstairs, and Downstairs, audiences sit close to the action and catch sharp debuts, exclusive work-in-progress sets, and polished tour stops. The programme stays fresh all year, from midweek double bills to weekend late shows, and the on-site bar keeps the conversation flowing long after curtain.
The venue has championed boundary-pushing voices and festival transfers, with memorable runs from Fleabag as well as comedians who now sell out arenas. Recent favourites and alumni include James Acaster, Aisling Bea, Nish Kumar, Mae Martin, Tim Key, Sarah Keyworth, and Katherine Ryan. Expect adventurous theatre, podcast recordings, and specials taped for streaming alongside club sets that feel electric in a room built for comic timing, crisp sightlines, and quick turnarounds.
