Tall Black Guy is the stage name of a boundary-pushing producer and DJ rooted in jazz, blues, soul, and hip-hop. A meticulous crate digger with a feel for melody, he builds warm, head-nodding grooves from dusty drums, horn stabs, and fluid bass lines, then threads them with modern swing. His catalog spans acclaimed remixes and richly textured original projects, and his collaborations with singers, rappers, and instrumentalists spotlight a deep musicality that plays just as well in headphones as it does on stage. In concert he turns his lifelong love of classic records into a kinetic, narrative set, flipping familiar motifs into fresh, improvisatory moments that invite both reflection and movement.
