Rumors of a Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul fight have captivated the sports world.

And now, the fight is confirmed.

Mayweather, regarded as one of the sport's all-time greatest fighters and Paul, a prominent YouTube personality, will fight on June 6.

Mayweather broke the news with an Instagram post confirming the rumors. The fight will reportedly take place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, with fans in attendance

Vivid Seats will have Mayweather vs. Logan Paul tickets available for the fight, which will likely begin at 8 p.m. ET.

Pay-per-view boxing matches typically take place on Saturday nights; however, having the event on June 6th--a Sunday--likely gave fight organizers more flexibility around finding a venue. It also avoids competing with the June 5th Teofimo Lopez-George Kambosos fight, also expected to be held in South Florida.

Paul, whose brother Jake recently scored a boxing victory over former MMA fighter Ben Askren, last boxed at the Staples Center in 2019 against fellow YouTuber KSI.

Mayweather defeated Conor McGregor in a highly anticipated boxing match in 2017 and later defeated Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in 2018. His fight against Logan Paul will be considered an exhibition.

While Triller Fight Club has been responsible for organizing events like Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren and Evander Holyfield vs. Kevin McBride, the Mayweather vs. Paul fight will not be affiliated with the TFC.

Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson (previously known as Chad Ochocinco) will have a match on the fight card. No other additional bouts have been announced.
