Set in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles at 555 W Temple St, Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels is a striking modern venue that welcomes fans for moving live experiences. Opened in 2002 and designed by Pritzker Prize winner Rafael Moneo, the cathedral pairs soaring geometry with warm, light-filled spaces. Alabaster windows bathe the nave in a soft glow, John Nava’s monumental tapestries line the aisles, and the resonant pipe organ helps create concert-grade acoustics ideal for choirs and chamber ensembles.
The campus features a broad plaza and a freestanding bell tower, making it a memorable backdrop for sacred music concerts, holiday programs, cultural celebrations, and community gatherings throughout the year. Its central location near Grand Park and the Civic Center makes attending evening performances and special events convenient, with thoughtful accessibility and family-friendly amenities on site.
