Concerts at Fenway Park

Anyone who has attended a Fenway Park concert can tell you that the Boston landmark is one of the best venues in the country to catch live music from the world’s biggest stars.

The iconic baseball field has played host to concerts from the likes of Florida Georgia Line, Lady Gaga and James Taylor.

For as fun as it is to watch the Red Sox at Fenway, attending a concert at Fenway--as a performer jams out with a backdrop of the Big Green Monster and a crowd of 30,000+ singing so loud that the song can be heard down Jersey Street--is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Top Artists Performing 2022 Concerts at Fenway Park

Fenway Park Seating Views

Though it’s one of America’s smallest baseball stadiums, Fenway Park offers fans a range of seating options, including the chance to catch the show from the field. For almost all concerts, the band will perform from a stage set up in the outfield area, although some designs may have smaller “B” stages that extend out closer to the infield. Most artists opt to include large multi-story LED screens so fans in all areas of the venue can witness the performance.

Fenway Park - Field Level Views

A handful of different layouts can be used for Fenway Park Field Level seating. Depending on the artist, the stadium may offer physical seats, general admission standing room, or a combination of the two types of admission. No matter the layout, Field Level options come in a wide range of distances from the stage.

Here’s a closer field option for Fenway Park concert seating from a Justin Timberlake show:

If you’re attending a concert with GA Field admission, you may end up standing closer to the infield, like this Bruce Springsteen fan did:

Fenway Park - Field and Loge Box Level Views

Field Box Level Fenway Park concert seating is the first option of stadium-style seating during live shows. If you prefer to be close to the stage but still want a slightly elevated view of the show, the Field Level seating options will be your best bet.

The Loge Level will offer a similar point of view as the Field Box, but you’ll be slightly farther back from the actual field.

Fenway Park - Grandstand Level Views

Fenway Park’s Grandstand Level is the largest of all the individual levels in the stadium. It’s the halfway point of the stadium-style seating in the ballpark, and most of the sections are covered by an overhang--which can be great in case it starts to rain during your concert.

Fenway Park - Pavilion and Roof Box Level Views

If you don’t mind being farther away from the action, the Pavilion and Roof Box Levels--the uppermost of all Fenway Park concert seating options--still give music fans a great live experience. As you can see in the video below, seats in the Pavilion and Roof Box Level will provide great sound while also giving you a bird’s-eye view of the show and the audience on the field. You can even see parts of the Boston skyline from some of these upper level seats.
