Kevin James Thornton is a comedian and storyteller who found a massive audience on TikTok by singing true tales with playful autotune, turning awkward '90s memories and growing up gay in a strict church into laugh-out-loud catharsis. A former musician and photographer, he blends rhythm, sharp timing and vulnerability, building shows that feel intimate and electric at the same time.

Thornton's 2023 special "Be Yourself," produced with Comedy Dynamics, captures that coming-of-age whirlwind and has fueled packed tours across the U.S. and abroad. Fans come for the catchy hooks and stay for the heart, quoting his wry refrain, It was the '90s, long after the lights come up.
