San Diego’s Muy Funny is a high-energy Latino stand-up showcase that turns Mic Drop Comedy into a night of sharp perspectives and quick-hit sets. Curated and hosted by Chilean comic Leo Saavedra, the show spotlights bilingual banter and new voices from around the country. Saavedra brings international chops and festival cred, with selections at the San Diego Comedy Festival and New York Underground Comedy Festival, plus stage time in Russia and Mexico. He owns a 7-2 record in "Roast Battle" and has opened for Felipe Esparza, Jerry Garcia, Fabrizio Copano, and Erick Rivera. Expect cultural punch lines that land alongside universal stories, crowd work that keeps the room buzzing, and the kind of community vibe that makes local comedy feel big.
