One of the best places to see a concert is at the Gorge Amphitheatre, which is located in George, Washington. The Gorge is an outdoor music venue that gives fans a unique experience as they get a great view of the Columbia River. It is in Central Washington for fans travel from all over the area to catch their favorite artists. Past performances at the Gorge Amphitheatre include Pearl Jam, Metallica, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews Band, The Police, Tom Petty and many more. Concert fans have the choice to sit in the reserved/Golden Chair seating or the general admission lawn seating. The amphitheatre also has wheelchair seating and makes other accomdations for those with disabilities and special needs. The Gorge Amphitheatre opened in the mid 1980's and can hold approximately 20,000 fans. Because it is located in Washington, it operates in the summer and early fall months due to it being an outside venue.
