Desi Comedy Fest is billed as North America’s largest and longest-running South Asian stand-up festival, founded in 2014 by Bay Area comedians Samson Koletkar and Abhay Nadkarni. Rooted in the San Francisco Bay Area, the fest curates multi-night, multi-venue showcases that spotlight South Asian and diaspora voices alongside diverse allies. Known for smart, culturally fluent sets and big-room energy, Desi Comedy Fest has introduced emerging talent and touring headliners to packed houses from Silicon Valley to San Francisco and beyond.

Across its stages, audiences have seen comics featured on Netflix, Comedy Central, CBC, and Just for Laughs, with lineups evolving yearly to reflect new stories and styles. Whether you grew up desi or simply love sharp, global comedy, the fest turns community, identity, and everyday absurdities into unforgettable laughs.
