A lot has unfolded over the past 13 years, but one thing the world has been without is a fresh album from Ben Folds Five. That’s about to change, however, as the rockers have released their latest effort, The Sound of the Life of the Mind, a follow-up to 1999’s The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner.
To help ease their way back into mainstream, Ben Folds and the Gang tapped resident cool guru, Nerdist Industries, to produce the video for their catchy first single, “Do It Anyway.” In case you can’t wait until next year’s VMAs to actually see a cool music video, check out the clip below featuring Jim Henson’s legendary Fraggles from Fraggle Rock, actors Rob Corddry and Anna Kendrick, and the founder of Nerdist, Chris Hardwick.
