ACL 2013 Lineup Highlights
While the Austin City Limits Festival is jam-packed with fun and exciting events of all sorts, it’s the incredible live music—which includes over 130 artists performing on eight different stages—that draws the massive crowds to the beautiful 46-acre Zilker Park. The ACL 2013 lineup is loaded with live acts that everyone will be clamoring to see, including Depeche Mode, Muse, Atoms for Peace, Lionel Richie, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend, The National, fun., Kendrick Lamar, and Franz Ferdinand.
Austin Eats
Outside food is not allowed on the festival grounds, but you’re in luck, because much like its music, Austin is famous for its spectacular food, which will be on full display at the Austin Eats food court on the grounds of the ACL Festival. Dozens of vendors will be on hand to satisfy the needs of hungry concertgoers with everything from BBQ and pizza, to tacos and ice cream.
ACL Art Market
For attendees who want a cool souvenir to remember their experience, it doesn’t get much better than the ACL Art Market, located in the center of Zilker Park and open throughout the duration of the festival. The market boasts a wide range of accessories from talented local artisans and also includes a General Store and the Official ACL Festival Boutique Store.
Austin Kiddie Limits
Granted they are accompanied by an attending adult, children 10 years old and younger will be allowed into the festival free of charge. Kids attending the festival will have the opportunity to enjoy Austin Kiddie Limits, an entertainment area designed for kids that includes fun activities like karaoke, art and music workshops, temporary tattoos, and much more. Austin Kiddie Limits will be open from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. local time each day of the festival.
