Bad Bunny Tour Background
So where did Bad Bunny come from? He seems like one of those stars who went from being an unknown artist to earning billions of streams and views. Well, he did have humble beginnings.
He started uploading self-produced, self-written music onto Soundcloud back in 2016 where he quickly gained popularity. He did all of this while studying at the University of Puerto Rico and working at a supermarket bagging groceries.
But those initial uploads catapulted him to fame. They were discovered by DJ Luian who signed Bad Bunny to his label. He has since gone on to collaborate with the biggest names in music right now including Cardi B, J Balvin, Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Future.
Of course, Bad Bunnys solo career is moving in the fast lane. His most successful chart single to-date is Mia (which means Mine), featuring none other than Drake, who sings in his verse in Spanish. Mia is the second single he released from his debut album, X 100pre (2018), the title serving as an acronym for Por Siempre in Spanish, which translates to Forever.
The album was released to very positive reviews. It was written almost entirely by Bad Bunny himself and features production from Major Lazer member, Diplo, as well as Roberto Rosado (a.k.a La Pciencia).
Bad Bunnys upcoming tour is supporting the release of this album in addition to his older material, which will please his earlier fans and win over his newer listeners.
