iHeartRadio Music Festival Lineup
The annual iHeartRadio Music Festival will return in the fall of 2016 with a star-studded lineup helmed by classic rock greats U2 and Sting, as well as pop icons like Britney Spears and Drake. This year’s two-day event will take place on Sept. 23-24 at the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, marking the first time the festival has ventured outside the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

U2, Billy Idol, Tears for Fears to Make iHeartRadio Festival Debut
As ever, the lineup of the iHeartRadio Music Festival has remained one of the most diverse in the country. This year will put the spotlight on music veterans who, while they have decades of experience in the business, will be newcomers to the iHeartRadio stage. This year that includes British rock icons U2 and Billy Idol, who each released a new album in 2014. Fellow Brit Sting will also join the lineup behind his 2016 album “57th and 9th.” The former Police frontman was a special guest at the inaugural iHeartRadio Festival in 2011, joining Lady Gaga during her set to perform two duets.
Outside the veterans on the lineup, there are plenty of fresh acts to check out, including hip-hop giant Drake, pop country star Sam Hunt, alt-rock duo Twenty One Pilots, and the elusive pop singer-songwriter Sia, who’s bound to put on an intriguing live show at iHeartRadio 2016.
As in past years, there are also plans for a daytime festival, the iHeartRadio Daytime Village, to take place on Sept. 24, but at the time of the main festival announcement this list of performers has not yet been announced.
