Madonna 2015 Tour
With the launch of her latest album right around the corner, veteran superstar Madonna revealed major tour plans for the latter half of 2015, which will include a lengthy North American trek from August to October. The March 2 announcement included more than 15 cities across the U.S. and Canada, though there’s always the possibility more shows will be added at a later date.
For now, the Rebel Heart Tour, named after Madonna’s forthcoming album due out on March 10, will set sail from Miami’s American Airlines Arena on Aug. 29 and conclude domestically on Oct. 27 with a concert at the L.A. Forum. The “Queen of Pop” will then finish out the year overseas performing at various sites across Europe.

While the likes of Lady Gaga and Katy Perry have been prevalent on the crowded tour circuit over the last few years, Madonna has been off the road since wrapping up the MDNA Tour in 2012, which also was plotted in support of a release. As noted by Rolling Stone, that trek went on to become the year’s top-grossing venture, beating out Bruce Springsteen and Roger Waters, though with roughly half the number of shows scheduled this time around, that feat will likely be tough to match.
As previously mentioned, in addition to new tour dates, Madonna also is treating fans to fresh music for the first time in three years. The 13th studio album, “Rebel Heart,” marks the long-awaited follow up to the Gold-certified “MDNA,” which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and US Dance/Electronic Albums charts. On the heels of unauthorized track leaks back in December, Madonna has already officially released six songs from the album, one of which, “Living For Love,” she performed live at the 2015 GRAMMY Awards.
