In 2009, Offerman brought to life one of his most iconic characters from the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation, Ron Swanson. His comedic role as Ron Swanson, the director of the Parks and Recreation department landed Offerman a Television Critics Association Award in 2010. Other comedians that have gone on to win a TCA Award have been David Hyde Pierce, Ray Romano, Bernie Mac, and Tine Fey.

Offerman will embark on his 37-city trek this spring 2019. He will kick off his All Rise 2019 tour on July 20 in Thackerville, Okla. at the famous WinStar World Casino & Resort. The tour will take Offerman across the United States with tour stops in Chicago’s Chicago Theater, Wichita’s Orpheum Theater, San Francisco’s The Masonic, and Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. The tour is set to conclude in San Diego, Calif. at the Balboa Theater on December 14.
Expect his standup to follow along the lines of his most recent projects with the streaming service Netflix: Nick Offerman: American Ham. Offerman makes references to personal and cultural hang-ups while offering fans his “10 Tips for a Prosperous Life.”
