Panorama 2016
The first annual Panorama Festival is preparing to take over New York’s Randall’s Island over the weekend of July 22-24. An all-star cast of musicians will lead the inaugural Panorama Festival lineup, including GRAMMY-winning rap star Kendrick Lamar, indie rock behemoth Arcade Fire, and the recently reunited hometown outfit LCD Soundsystem.

Contemporary Alt-Rock, Hip-Hop Favorites Fill Out Panorama Festival Lineup
Outside the main headliners for the weekend, the Panorama lineup promises an exciting weekend of live music from some of today’s most talented artists. On Friday in support of headliner Arcade Fire, fans can see sets from British alt-R&B star FKA Twigs, adored Canadian rock outfit Broken Social Scene, and Black Hippy founding member Schoolboy Q, along with 2016 Album of the Year nominee Alabama Shakes. Alabama Shakes picked up its first GRAMMY Awards at this year’s ceremony, including Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance for the song “Don’t Wanna Fight.”
On Saturday Kendrick Lamar leads a day filled with alt-rock heavy hitters, including greats like Sufjan Stevens, The National, Foals, Ex Hex, and the Julie Ruin. New York’s native LCD Soundsystem will helm Sunday, the final day. The Sunday Panorama lineup will be one of the most diverse, featuring performances from pop singer Sia, New York native rapper ASAP Rocky, acclaimed singer-songwriter Kurt Vile, hip-hop duo Run the Jewels, and alt-folk outfit Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, among others.
