According to a new announcement on Feb. 5, Phish will be returning to the road in the summer of 2016 for a nationwide concert tour. In all, more than a dozen cities have been selected to host just over 20 concerts from June through September. Notable stops along the way include Phish’s Wrigley Field debut and a three-night stand at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Colorado.

Wrigley Field Debut in Store for 2016 Phish Summer Tour
Many of the venues featured on the Phish tour for 2016 will be familiar to devoted “phans:” Philadelphia’s Mann Center, New York’s Saratoga Springs Performing Arts Center, and San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium are all favorite haunts of this Vermont-based rock outfit. However, this year the band will be making its live debut at one of the Midwest’s most prime concert venues: Wrigley Field. Phish will headline the historic ballpark for two nights on June 24-25, joining a summer concert schedule that includes greats like Pearl Jam, Billy Joel, and James Taylor. The upcoming shows will also mark the first time Phish has played in Chicago in two years.
There’s no word on whether or not the band is planning to release new music with its summer 2016 tour. Their most recent studio effort was “Fuego,” which dropped in 2014.
