R Kelly 2016

Chicago native R. Kelly will embark on an expansive North American tour beginning in April of 2016. The venture is expected to kick off in late April from Cincinnati and cover at least two dozen U.S. cities through the end of June. Notable among the performances will be a hometown stop at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill., on May 7.

The complete R. Kelly tour schedule for 2016 is featured at the bottom of the page.

Latest R. Kelly Tour Dates to Support 2015 Album, “The Buffet”

R. Kelly’s 2016 tour will support his most recent album, titled “The Buffet,” which dropped in Dec. 2015. The album was Kelly’s 13th studio effort, and while it peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, “The Buffet” was also R. Kelly’s his first album in six years to hit No. 1 on the Top R&B and Hip-Hop Albums chart.

“The Buffet” introduced two singles to radio, including “Backyard Party” and “Switch Up,” which features Lil Wayne and fellow Chicago vocalist Jeremih.

The upcoming Buffet Tour will mark R. Kelly’s first concert venture since 2014, when he supported his then-recent album “Black Panties,” with support from R&B vocalist Tamar Braxton. As of March 21, there’s no word on whether or not R. Kelly will be bringing along an opening act for the latest round of live arena dates.
