Radio City Music Hall Seating Chart
Ever since it opened in 1932, Radio City Music Hall has served as one of New York’s most prominent destinations for live entertainment. In addition to being a veritable New York City landmark, Radio City continues to be a popular site to witness live concerts, theater shows, and even the occasional sporting event.
Every winter, Radio City Music Hall takes a break from its regular programming to indulge in the festive holiday spirit with the annual Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Featuring the world-famous Rockettes, a Living Nativity, and an appearance from Santa Claus himself, this holiday staple has been a favorite among New Yorkers and Big Apple visitors for more than eight decades.

Radio City Music Hall Seating Chart
Featuring roughly 6,000 seats, the Radio City Music Hall seating chart is broken into five distinct levels. On the floor of the theater, seating is available in the small Pit Level in front of the stage, as well as in the main Orchestra Level. Finally, along the wall opposite the stage, there are three tiered Mezzanine Levels where fans can get an elevated view of the show.
Here’s an actual photo of the theater’s seating layout as seen from the stage. This picture makes it easy to see the distinction between Radio City’s Orchestra and each of the three Mezzanine Levels.
Radio City Music Hall - Pit Level Seating Views
When available, the Pit Level, located at the very front of the Radio City Music Hall seating chart, offers one of the best vantage points in the house. From these seats fans can stand within feet of their favorite performers. For theater performances with live music, such as the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, the Pit may be taken over by the show’s musicians and will be unavailable to guests.
Radio City Music Hall - Orchestra Seating Views
Immediately following the Pit, the Orchestra Level takes up the rest of the floor level at Radio City Music Hall. Depending on the section, each area of the Orchestra Level may have up to 45 rows, so the viewpoints can differ a great deal from the first row to the last.
Here’s a look at the stage from the Orchestra seating:
Even from the far sides, views from the Orchestra Level give a clear look at the performers on the Radio City Music Hall stage.
Radio City Music Hall - First Mezzanine Seating Views
Still fairly low to the ground, the Radio City First Mezzanine offers a similar view to the rear rows of the Orchestra Level. However, since this area has significantly fewer rows, attendees are less likely to have their view blocked by taller guests in front--a major plus for shorter fans.
Radio City Music Hall - Second Mezzanine Seating Views
At the midway point of the theater is the Second Mezzanine. More elevated than the First Mezzanine, this level provides an excellent view of the historic Radio City stage.
Radio City Music Hall - Third Mezzanine Seating Views
For a sweeping view of the theater, there’s no better option in the Radio City seating chart than the Third Mezzanine. This final mezzanine level is farthest from the stage, but it also holds the fewest seats of any level in the theater, making for a uniquely intimate concert experience.
