Green Day Tour 2016-17 Highlighted By Intimate Club Shows

October 10, 2016 by Amy

Green Day Tour

For fans of major Rock and Roll Hall of Fame bands like Green Day, opportunities to witness a concert at the likes of say Webster Hall in New York or House of Blues Boston don’t come around often, if ever. But this fall, Green Day is making it possible.

In support of the band’s 12th studio album, “Revolution Radio,” a limited number of North American shows were scheduled at venues that offered Green Day fans a truly unique concert experience.

For reference, here’s what it was like when Green Day performed at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago back in 1994:

“Revolution Radio” dropped on Oct. 7, keyed by the lead single, “Bang Bang," which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.

While the setlist is subject to change for the arena shows, the songs on the docket for Green Day's intimate venue run have been all over the map, much to the delight of fans. From old (like first song they ever wrote old) to new, and even a nice handful of covers (including the medley featured below), the Revolution Radio Tour is one not to be missed.
