Kanye West Tour Rumors: Will Kanye Have a Donda Tour in 2022?

September 02, 2021 by Madison Marx

After many delayed album release dates and three listening events, Kanye West's new album Donda is here. It's been nearly five years since West last toured, and fans are eager to fill arenas to experience his latest album live.

Here's what we know about Donda, West's 10th studio album, and the possibility of a Donda tour coming to fruition.

Is Kanye West Touring in 2022?

Since releasing his album, Donda, in August 2021, fans have been anticipating a tour announcement from the rapper. While there is no official news yet from West on a 2021 or 2022 tour, it's likely that the Atlanta native will hit the road in the next year or two.

At this point, a Kanye West tour is more likely to happen in the first half of 2022 than in 2021.

Who Could Tour with Kanye West in 2022?

Kanye West's Donda album features some of rap's present and future stars like Pusha T, Kid Cudi and Travis Scott. Here's a list of other rap stars that appear on Donda, and that could make an appearance on West's tour:

West and Jay-Z toured together in the early 2010s as part of the Watch the Throne tour but seemed to have a falling out in subsequent years. However, the pair has appeared to reconcile

Lil Baby's tour wraps up at the end of November, which means he could have availability to hit the road again in 2022.

Others could be long shots, but "Ye" has been known to bring out surprise guests at shows. He had both Marilyn Mason and DaBaby on stage with him at a recent listening party event.

What is the Official Donda Setlist?

When West announces a concert tour, his setlist is almost certain to include the following tracks from his latest album:

  • Donda Chant
  • Jail
  • God Breathed
  • Off The Grid
  • Hurricane
  • Praise God
  • Jonah
  • Ok Ok
  • Junya
  • Believe What I Say
  • 24
  • Remote Control
  • Moon
  • Heaven and Hell
  • Donda
  • Keep My Spirit Alive
  • Jesus Lord
  • New Again

When was Donda Supposed to be Released?

Donda was initially scheduled to be released after his Donda listening party at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The album was delayed and released on Aug. 29, shortly after his Donda listening evet at Soldier Field in Chicago.

Will Kanye Still Have Sunday Service in 2022?

While West has not held a Sunday Service since 2020, gospel singer the World Famous Tony Williams, and West's Sunday Service Choir make appearances on his new album. It is possible that West will reboot his Sunday Service series in 2021 if he doesn't announce a Donda tour.

When was Kanye West's Last Tour?

West has not toured in the U.S. since The Life of Pablo tour in 2016, which followed his Yeezus tour. Since the rapper has not toured in a few years, a Kanye West tour would almost unquestionably be one of the biggest tours of 2022.

Who Opened for Kanye West on the Saint Pablo Tour?

The Saint Pablo tour was West's first solo tour in five years, however, Kendrick Lamar, A Tribe Called Quest, Travis Scott and Pusha T served as opening acts on select dates.
