KISS 2016
In the summer of 2016, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame outfit KISS will be on the road with a massive new live tour. The Freedom to Rock Tour, announced on April 8, will kick off in early July and cover more than three dozen cities across North America through mid-September.
Most of the stops along the KISS tour route will be in relatively smaller cities, like Bozeman, Mont., and Green Bay, Wis., among others. You can see the full list of KISS tour dates at the bottom of the page.
Brand New Cities Feature into KISS Tour Dates for 2016
In the press release for the new tour, KISS revealed that there are at least four cities on the upcoming Freedom to Rock Tour that the band has never performed in. Among those cities are Bozeman, Mont. (July 16) and Allentown, Pa. (Sept. 1). In addition to the new cities, KISS will make up for long absences in other sites, including Lincoln, Neb. (July 22), where the band hasn’t performed in more than 15 years.
More cities are expected to be added to the tour as the year continues.
There’s no word yet on whether or not a new KISS album will accompany the upcoming tour. The group’s last studio effort, “Monster,” was released in 2012. Since there’s been no announcement of new music, the band’s upcoming shows will likely highlight the outfit’s greatest career hits.
