The Most Popular Latin Music Artists

September 15, 2023 by Vivid Seats

Latin music encompasses everything from Grupo Firme and Bad Bunny to Jennifer Lopez and Selena Gomez. It’s rock, reggaetón, pop, hip-hop—and it continues to influence diverse sets of genres and grow in popularity around the world.

In honor of National Latinx and Hispanic Heritage Month, Vivid Seats is recognizing the most popular Latin artists across the country, according to ticket sales data from artists in our Latin music category and from Billboard’s annual list of Top Latin Artists.

To find the top Latin music artist in your area, we’ve compiled an interactive map celebrating America’s love of Latin music and the wonderful variety of the most beloved performers across the county.

From the West Coast to the East Coast, different artists have taken root in different regions.

SoCal loves Grupo Firme; NorCal cherishes a variety of artists including Pitbull, Mana and Los Bukis.

On the other side of the country, East Harlem native Marc Anthony is the most popular Latin artist in four out of the five Boroughs of New York City. The outlier? Brooklyn favors the reggaetón and trap hits of Bad Bunny.

Country music isn’t the only genre that has been at the forefront of the live music scene in Texas. The Lone Star State favors many artists, however, Bad Bunny is the best-selling Latin music artist in the metropolitan areas of Houston, San Antonio, El Paso and Dallas, while Austin prefers Enrique Iglesias.

Central Florida, home to a large Puerto Rican community, loves its reggaetón, so it comes as no surprise that Puerto Rico native Bad Bunny is the best-selling artist there. In Southern Florida, Marc Anthony and his tropical salsa hits reign supreme.
