Harry Connick Jr Announces New 2016 Tour Dates
Jazz vocalist Harry Connick Jr. is going back on the road in 2016 in support of his latest studio album. The smooth-voiced New Orleans native will begin his spring concert venture on April 23 from the Plaza Theatre in El Paso, Texas. Through the middle of June, the Harry Connick Jr. tour is expected to stop in just over 25 cities across the U.S. Among the upcoming dates will be concerts in cities like San Antonio (April 25-26), Thackerville, Okla. (April 30), Omaha, Neb. (May 10), Chicago (May 18), Huntsville, Ala. (June 7), Atlanta (June 11), Nashville (June 12-13), and Vienna, Va. (June 18). As of March 10, the Harry Connick Jr. tour is expected to wrap up on June 19 following a performance at the Bethlehem Sands Casino in Bethlehem, Pa. There’s no word yet on whether a fall leg of the tour will be announced at a later date.
Connick’s latest album, titled “That Would Be Me,” came out in Oct. 2015. The release was Connick’s 19th studio album, and it featured the single “(I Do) Like We Do.”
