Beyonce' Hits Broadway
Hamilton isn’t the only Broadway show that’s attracting A-list celebrities.
Dear Evan Hansen welcomed one of entertainment’s biggest stars on Monday when Beyoncé attended Thursday night’s performance along with husband Jay-Z.
After the performance, Beyoncé met with the show’s cast backstage, talking with cast members and posing for photos.
Ben Platt, the lead in Dear Evan Hansen, shared a photo on Instagram of himself talking with the 22-time Grammy Award winner who recently gave birth to a set of twins.
“The alien called me an alien and I'm no longer living,” he wrote in the post’s caption:

It was a memorable evening on all sides, as Beyoncé appeared to be moved by the show, which portrays a high school senior with social anxiety.
“She came backstage and was basically still crying from the show,” a show rep told the New York Post. “She was so complimentary toward the cast and talked about how much she loved the show.”
Dear Evan Hansen continues at New York’s Music Box Theatre, with Platt’s final show as Evan Hansen scheduled for Nov. 19.
